How it works
- Steps = round(total rise ÷ target riser)
- Actual riser = total rise ÷ steps; Going = total run ÷ steps
- Stringer = √(rise² + run²)
Worked example
Rise 3000, run 3600, riser 180 → 17 steps, riser 176.5, going 211.8, stringer ≈ 4685 mm.
