Elbow Center-to-Face (C2F) Calculator
The C2F is not printed on the elbow — it is geometry. Get it from NPS, angle and radius type (LR/SR).
How it works
- R = factor × NPS × 25.4 (LR factor = 1.5)
- C2F = R × tan(angle ÷ 2)
- For 90°: C2F = R
Worked example
NPS 6", 90°, LR → R = 228.6 mm, C2F = 228.6 mm (ASME B16.9).
